Ralf Seepold is Professor and Chair of Ubiquitous Computing at HTWG Konstanz, where he directs the Ubiquitous Computing Laboratory and the Interdisciplinary Sleep Laboratory. He is also Academic Program Director of the Bachelor’s degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence.
His research focuses on artificial intelligence in healthcare, biomedical signal processing, medical IoT, and digital sleep medicine. He specializes in developing intelligent systems for non-invasive physiological monitoring, including wearable and contactless sensing technologies for sleep disorder diagnostics, cardiovascular monitoring, and stress assessment.
His interdisciplinary research combines ubiquitous computing, explainable AI, and privacy-preserving technologies to advance personalized healthcare and clinical decision support. He coordinates international research collaborations and projects addressing AI-driven healthcare innovation, digital health education, and the practical integration of intelligent technologies into healthcare environments.

Baglan Imanbek is a Research Professor at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She holds a PhD in Automation and Control, with research expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent control systems, and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).
Her current research focuses on AI-driven healthcare technologies, particularly intelligent monitoring and diagnostic systems for sleep disorders and cardiovascular diseases. Her work combines wearable sensors, physiological signal processing, explainable artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics to develop innovative solutions for personalized healthcare and clinical decision support.
She actively leads interdisciplinary research projects on digital health, medical monitoring, and AI-based diagnostic technologies.

Polina Mihova is Head of the Department of Health Care and Social Work at New Bulgarian University in Sofia.
